Elviar Tax Services BV is a boutique tax services firm based in The Netherlands. Founded in September 2019, Elviar dedicates itself wholly to serving clients in the field of indirect taxes, such as Value-Added Tax (VAT) and customs.
At Elviar we are committed to creating value for our clients through delivering the highest quality tax advisory and compliance services. In doing so we strive our tax services to be unambiguously clear, technically robust and practically implementable.

At Elviar we believe that, like with many things in life, indirect tax is all about perspective. Team & Network
Elviar is led by Lionel van Rey (Founder & Managing Director). Lionel started his career in 2003 as a VAT specialist in The Netherlands (EY). From 2013 to 2019 he worked from the United States (EY and KPMG), assisting multinationals in a wide array of industries with the management of their global indirect tax affairs. Elviar works together with select independent tax advisory firms whose values concerning trust, respect, integrity and quality of client services are aligned. Our network encompasses specialist indirect tax and general business tax boutiques in key trade centers throughout Europe and beyond. Our partners have vast experience in the field of (indirect) tax law, generally obtained during long careers in the tax consulting, in-house counsel and tax administration space.
